Toronto FC sign defender Luke Singh to second short-term agreement

Toronto FC announced today that the club has signed defender Luke Singh to a short-term agreement ahead of Wednesday’s Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL) Round of 16 second leg matchup with Club Leon. Per MLS rules, clubs are allowed to sign players on loan from their USL affiliate to a maximum of four short-term agreements each season (maximum of 16 days).

Per MLS rules, a club may sign players from the USL affiliate to short-term agreements for Concacaf Champions League, Canadian Championship, Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and exhibition matches.

Philadelphia Union sign goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh

Philadelphia Union announced today that they have signed goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh to a one-year contract. The 27-year-old will be added to the Union’s active roster effective immediately. Prior to joining the 2020 Supporters’ Shield winning Union, Ranjitsingh won consecutive USL Championship finals before spending time with Orlando City SC and Minnesota United FC.
