After scoring twice during the week, Kyle Bethel was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The senior forward from Howell, N.J. has now won the award in consecutive weeks.

Bethel scored twice as Oakland beat Kansas City 3-0 in a battle of Summit League unbeatens. With the win, the Golden Grizzlies maintained their perfect 6-0 home record and took sole possession of first place in the league standings.

Bethel's two goals give him a league-best 22 points for the year, with six goals and 10 assists. He currently leads the nation in assists and assists per-match, while ranking No. 12 in total points and 17th in points per-match.

Bethel and the Golden Grizzlies return to action on Wednesday at 7 p.m. with a match against Michigan State at the OU Soccer Field.
