National youth footballer and Trinity Baptist College freshman, Stephan Spicer, was among seven schoolmates selected to the 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American teams.
After Spicer and his Trinity Baptist College Eagles team won the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II National Championships recently, the honours overflowed into the post-season for these lucky seven Eagles players.
According to Raymond Bureau of tbceagles.com says "A defender, Spicer did not score any goals for the Eagles, but he was instrumental in keeping the opposition out of the net, particularly during the South Region regular- season and playoff matches and throughout the post-season.
For this reason, Spicer made First- Team All-American."
Joining Spicer on the squad are Eagles forwards Tresor Mbuyu and Josh O’Hara, midfielders Pedro Santos, Leonardo Anjos and Breno Oliveira, and defenseman Chris Castellanos.
