All-Stars International Sporting Tours (ASIST) is a newly founded organization that aims to provide community service though involvement in sports. ASIST took an initiative to provide exposure and opportunity for the skillful and educated youths in Trinidad and Tobago aspiring to play for colleges abroad.

We are organizing our first College Combine Assessment. As a result, we have invited college soccer coaches from Howard University, Florida Memorial University and Washington Adventist University in the United States of America (USA). The US coaches will be visiting Trinidad and Tobago in order to provide their expertise and give incite on their selection criteria. The coaches will also select individuals that they deemed fit and ready for the US College System. In addition, they will advise interested soccer players about the requirements needed to succeed as an all-round individual in USA’s College system.

Former Trinidad and Tobago National Youth soccer athlete, Tevonne Morris, and Crown Trace FC founder, Nicholas Griffith, are heading the project. Tevonne was awarded a US soccer scholarship which provided him with an avenue to complete his bachelors as well as his master’s in Business Administration. Tevonne played for the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) in the Super League last season and is currently working for the American Stock Transfer and Trust LLC on a work visa in New York City. Nicholas Griffith is founder of the Crown Trace FC team. Nicholas Griffith has been to the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom providing young athletes with mentorship and international exposure. He was able to take the Crown Trace FC U17 team to the semi-finals of the USA CUP (Minnesota, US) back in July alongside Tevonne. Both Individuals have the common goal of providing opportunity and international exposure for young athletes.

The event will be held at the ML Ball Park facility in Macoya on the Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of December, 2018 between 9am & 4pm. The organizing committee invite aspiring student athletes to participate in the assessment. The College Combine Assessment would be the first of many, as this organization aims to catapult aspiring student-athletes from the youth soccer school tournament with an average 2.0 GPA (minimum). This structure will ensure that we provide the best quality players with the potential to be included on a university roster for the upcoming academic years.
