Adelphi University senior Patrick Figueiredo and sophomore Thorne Holder each earned Atlantic Soccer Conference weekly honors as announced by the conference office on September 16. Figueiredo was named Player of the Week, while Holder received Goalie of The Week accolades.

Figueiredo, a forward from Campinas, Brazil, scored a goal in each of Adelphi's victories last week. His first goal came against Sacred Heart as he was able to get a head on teammate Val Charalambous's strike and sent the ball past the goalkeeper, knotting the game at one. Figueiredo also had the Panther's lone goal against Oregon State in overtime as he collected a pass and struck the ball from eight yards out for the win.

Holder, a native of Trinidad & Tobago, combined for 184:03 minutes and one goal against with five saves and one shutout in two games. Making his first start of the season and first win against Sacred Heart. Holder collected his first shutout of the year against Oregon State in a 1-0 victory.

The Panthers return to action on September 20 when they play host to St. Peter's on September 20 at 7:00 pm.
