Adelphi University junior Val Charalambous and sophomore Thorne Holder each earned Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) weekly honors as announced by the conference office on September 22. Charalambous was named Player of the Week, while Holder received Goalie of The Week accolodes for the second week in a row.

Charalambous, a junior midfielder from Larnaka, Cyprus, scored the game-winning goal against Saint Peter's in Adelphi's 2-1 victory on Saturday evening. The goal was scored in the 65th minute of play when Charalambous collected a rebound on a shot by teammate Kemalie Preston from 10 yards out and found nothing but the back of the net.

Holder, a sophomore, from Trinidad and Tobago, registered his third win in his third start of the season in a 2-1 victory over Saint Peter's. He added three saves in 90 minutes in front of the net.

The Panthers have extended their win streak to three, with the victory over Saint Peter's and return to action on September 30 when they take on Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.
