The Foresters continued their winning ways with two wins over the weekend. On Friday night HU defeated the Bearcats of Brescia University 2-1.  HU's first score came when Marvin Martinez scored directly off a corner in the 58th minute.  Less than seven minutes later Brescia equalized with a header off a scramble in the box to knot the score 1-1.
The Foresters quickly regained momentum and their pressure finally paid off as Brad Kunze headed in the game winner of a pass from Dustin Shafer at the 84:15 mark.

HU outshot Brescia 15-8.  The Foresters also enjoyed a 14-2 corner kick advantage.  Keeper Kevin Keske turned in a solid performance with five saves on the day.

"Our defensive pressure and shape was excellent all games as we limited Brescia to just a couple of dangerous scoring opportunities.  I was especially proud of how the boys did not drop their heads after they gave up the goal and quickly regained the momentum," said Coach Russ Lawson.
