Lester Felician has been named the Penn State Harrisburg Head Men’s Soccer Coach beginning in the fall 2010 season. Felician comes to Penn State Harrisburg with tremendous experience having played professionally, both within the United States and in his home country of Trinidad and Tobago.

Felician played for Belhaven College in Mississippi where he was an all-conference performer and is still the all-time leader in assists. He then went on to play professionally for 7 years with stints with the Jackson Chargers, New Orleans Storm, Cleveland Crunch, Lehigh Valley Steam, Kansas City Attack, Harrisburg Heat and Baltimore Blast. Along with his professional experience in the U.S., Felician also played on the Olympic team and national senior team for 6 year in Trinidad and Tobago. Coach Felician ended his professional career due to a knee injury in 2005.

The end of his career as a player marked the beginning of his career as a coach. Coach Felician has coached at the Bascome Pro Soccer School and was the head soccer coach at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pa. Coach Felician also currently owns and operates the Lester Felician Soccer Academy.

Coach Felician's experience as a player and a coach has formed his strong coaching philosphy: "I believe that the game is the biggest teacher and that coaches are there to help guide players. I strive to enhance the strengths of each player while improving areas of weakness through hard work, discipline, and fun. I believe in developing each player on the team as each player plays an integral role on the team. I work to find what inspires and motivates each player, and help them to enjoy the game to its fullest. One of my favorite sayings is, 'Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference'."
