Lester Felician has been named the Penn State Harrisburg Head Men’s Soccer Coach beginning in the fall 2010 season. Felician comes to Penn State Harrisburg with tremendous experience having played professionally, both within the United States and in his home country of Trinidad and Tobago.
The end of his career as a player marked the beginning of his career as a coach. Coach Felician has coached at the Bascome Pro Soccer School and was the head soccer coach at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pa. Coach Felician also currently owns and operates the Lester Felician Soccer Academy.
Coach Felician's experience as a player and a coach has formed his strong coaching philosphy: "I believe that the game is the biggest teacher and that coaches are there to help guide players. I strive to enhance the strengths of each player while improving areas of weakness through hard work, discipline, and fun. I believe in developing each player on the team as each player plays an integral role on the team. I work to find what inspires and motivates each player, and help them to enjoy the game to its fullest. One of my favorite sayings is, 'Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference'."
