Four College of Charleston men's soccer seniors will have the opportunity to showcase their soccer abilities at the United Soccer Leagues Player Combine presented by Umbro. Domestic and international scouts as well as professional coaches will be on hand in Charleston's own Blackbaud Stadium - home of the 2010 USL-2 Champion Charleston Battery.

CofC seniors Sean Bateau (Port of Spain, Trinidad), Sean Flatley (Virginia Beach, Va.), Justin Fojo (Port of Spain, Trinidad) and Kareem Yearwood (Sou Sou Lands, Tobago) have all been invited to participate in the combine.

"I'm very happy for each of these players, as it allows them to be on a stage to earn a professional contract," said CofC head coach Ralph Lundy. "They have each put in a lot of time to our program and it's exciting to see them get rewarded in this way."

To date, more than 125 players have gone on to sign professional contracts with USL, MLS and international squads since the debut of the USL Men's Combine in 2006. The event attracts the top U23 talent from throughout North America, with many of the participants coming from the USL Premier Development League.

The combine takes place this weekend, from Thursday, Jan. 20 through Sunday, Jan. 23 and will feature training sessions for both goalkeepers and field players as well as full-speed games between strategically picked combine participants.
