Central based T&T Clubs get tough CCL draw.

Newly crown T&T Pro League and CFU champions Central FC have been drawn into Group D of the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League (CCL) alongside reigning MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy and one of Guatemala's most successful team Comunicaciones FC.

W Connection were not so lucky as the T&T Pro League and CFU runners-up were drawn into Group A and will face stiffer competition with the likes of Costa Rican giant Deportivo Saprissa and recently crowned Liga MX champion Santos Laguna standing in their way.

Central FC will be making it's CCL debut while W Connection previously competed and are no strangers to the tournament, however, despite ruffling a few feathers the 'Savonetta Boys' have never made it out of the group stage and into the knockout round.

CONCACAF meanwhile, conducted the draw for the CONCACAF Champions League on Monday, sorting the 24 qualified teams into eight groups. Teams will play the other teams in their group both home and away to decide which clubs will move on to the knockout stages.

The full tournament schedule will be announced at a later date while the eventual Champions League winner will earn a berth in the 2016 FIFA World Club Cup.
