KENWYNE JONES did not make his debut for Central FC against Vancouver Whitecaps last evening, at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, in the CONCACAF Champions League.
“We continue to respect all rules and regulations set in place by our football governing bodies,” the media release continued.
“As always, Kenwyne remains committed to a transparent, transitional process, and he looks forward to returning to active duty and joining ‘the Sharks’, as soon as he is granted international clearance to play,” ended the media release.
The 31-year-old Trinidad and Tobago captain and striker joined Atlanta United on July 15 after spending 12 years in Britain, representing Southampton, Sunderland, Stoke City and Cardiff City.
Atlanta United will be making their entry in the United States Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2017 and Jones is finalising his loan move to Central FC, until December 31 2016.
