The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to all fans for their tremendous support at the recent 2018 World Cup Qualifying match between this country’s Senior National Team and Guatemala at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

The TTFA introduced a new ticketing system for the event through an affiliation with Sun Tixx Caribbean Limited and G Tech which allowed fans from far and wide to access tickets for the match through the country’s 900 Lotto outlets via the VIA network. And final reports have indicated that supporters from 100 plus areas, comprising of towns, villages and boroughs including the cities of Port of Spain and San Fernando as well as Tobago had easy access to tickets which were purchased at the various outlets.

Sales were recorded in areas such as Barrackpore, Caparo, Caroni, Cedros, Chatam, Cumuto, La Brea, Laventille, Sangre Grande, Toco, Los Iros, Santa Flora, Talparo, Tableland, Sea Lots, Williamsville, Wallerfield, Mt Lambert and Lopinot among other places which in the past would not have been the case. This is a first in the history of the staging of international football matches in this country which allowed fans from such a vast amount of areas to be able to access their game tickets with ease.

The TTFA will continue with this system for the upcoming CONCACAF Hexagonal Final Round which begins on November 11th with a home fixture against Costa Rica and continues with four other home matches up until October, 2017. This ticketing process will also be used for other international events hosted by the TTFA.

The Local Organising Committee of the TTFA is also in the process of reviewing security and crowd support systems to ensure that the fan experience is a hassle-free, safe and enjoyable one for future engagements. There are new security measures for World Cup qualifying matches and we urge our patrons to pay attention to our bulletins which will be placed in the media from time to time.

The TTFA will also assist local fans in their efforts to access tickets for T&T’s away World Cup Qualifying matches and those individuals wishing to travel can obtain more information by visiting or contacting the TTFA head office at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

Announcements on further developments leading up to the opening match of the CONCACAF Final phase will be made in due course.
