Carlos Edwards will almost certainly leave Portman Road in the summer when his contract runs out.
Although the Trinidad & Tobago star is keen to stay with Ipswich, and has even suggested he will retire from international football in order to secure a new contract, Town have not been forthcoming in dealing with his representatives.
Edwards has been linked with LA Galaxy but US reporter Jo-Ryan Salazar who has close connections with the club believes The MLS cup-winners are after bigger fish.
With David Beckham probably leaving it is suggested Robbie Keane will soon be playing in the same side as either Juninho, Kepo Blanco or Carlos Hernandez as a designated player.
Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard have also been linked with the LA club, along with Clarence Seedorf but Edwards' name is not on the Galaxy list, except in Suffolk it would seem.
