York City are considering an offer from ambitious Fleetwood Town for their Trinidad & Tobago international midfielder Andre Boucaud.

Boucaud, 27, is widely regarded as the most natural footballer at Bootham Crescent but continues to rather divide opinion amongst supporters following his arrival on a permanent deal from Kettering Town twelve months ago.

He has since made 41 appearances and scored once after previous spells at Wycombe Wanderers, Aldershot Town and Peterborough United.

"We have had an offer from Fleetwood for Andre and that's as far as it's gone at the moment," manager Gary Mills confirmed to The Press.

The Minstermen yesterday signed former Morecambe midfielder Scott Brown at the end of his short-term contract at Fleetwood.
