Khaleem Hyland vs ChelseaSky Sports understands that Queens Park Rangers have expressed an interest in Genk midfielder Khaleem Hyland.

The Premier League outfit are said to have had the Trinidad & Tobago international watched by their scouting system this season.

Positive reports have been sent back to Loftus Road, leading the club to take their interest further.

Mark Hughes is the new man at the QPR helm and he is in the process of busily assembling a squad he hopes will be good enough to see the club to Premier League safety.

Hyland could be drafted into those plans, with the 22-year-old among those being considered by the Rs.

His agent claims no official approach has been made as yet, but has hinted that his client would welcome a move to England if the opportunity arises.

"Khaleem has always wanted to play in England and if QPR firm up their interest we would be happy to talk to them, if Genk allowed us to," said Hyland's representative Steve Davies.
