Jason Scotland (Barnsley vs Blackpool)Jason Scotland scored an 87th-minute winner - his second goal in as many games - as Barnsley made it five wins in six with a 2-1 success at ten man Blackpool.

Scotland powered his way through the home defence to score after some excellent play from David Perkins. Scotland, who signed five days earlier, added to his strike against Millwall on Tuesday.

The goal went in past Mark Halstead who was making his Championship debut after coming on as a substitute following a red card for Matt Gilks who handled outside the box. Gilks' hand blocked a shot by Chris O'Grady who was two minutes into his Barnsley debut.

Jim O'Brien had given Barnsley a 25-minute lead with a cool finish after great work from Marlon Harewood. Blackpool's Thomas Ince levelled ten minutes into the second half but it was Barnsley who came out on top.

The Reds are now two points from Championship safety and moved up one place to 22nd in the table.
