Many might say that a point away from home is a good result. Not midfielder Andre Boucaud.

Notts face Carlisle United at Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off) and Boucaud will only be happy if he heads back to Nottingham with three points in the bag.

A 2-0 triumph over Tranmere Rovers last weekend saw the Magpies record their first three points of 2013.14.

The Trinidad & Tobago international wants the victory to mark the team’s turning point and is desperate for County to continue where they left off against Rovers.

“A lot of weight was lifted but at the end of the day we shouldn’t be in that position anyway,” he told Magpie Player.

“There’s still pressure for us to go and get results and come Saturday we’ve got to go there and get the win – not a draw, I think a win is necessary.

“We can definitely go there and get three points if we approach it with the same mentality where we go and play our football.

“Against Tranmere, I think that’s the first time we’ve gone and played – and believed we could play.

“We’re underachieving as a team and I think we’ve got to try and rebuild from that win and hopefully get another win on Saturday.

“At the end of the day, we’re next to bottom and the league table doesn’t lie.

“We need to ask more from everyone and believe we can go out there and get some results.”
