Micky Adams' Copa de Ibiza plans have been dealt an early blow, with the news that three of his senior players have been unable to make the trip to the sunshine isle.

Defender Adie Williams misses out as he is on compassionate leave while Andy Morrell has a groin strain, and perhaps most disappointingly of all, new signing Clayton Ince couldn't obtain a visa to enter Spain.

With a number of players also on international duty, the three enforced absentees are far from ideal and Adams will no doubt have been keen to give Trinidad and Tobago international Ince his first start for the Club.

The Sky Blues face Huddersfield Town tomorrow night in their first game of the competition, and with QPR and an Ibizan XI also participating, the City squad will be eager to get some early victories under their belt.
