Hamilton Academical have signed 28 year old Trinidadian international striker Richard ‘Shaka’ Roy on a four month deal.
The player had been training with the club earlier in the close season, and has been signed from Defence Force FC.
He has 7 caps for his country.
Manager Martin Canning commented, “Shaka is added to the squad for the next few months to give us extra cover, especially having lost Eamonn Brophy to injury a couple of weeks ago. It gives him a chance now that he is living in Scotland and he came to our attention.”
He will have squad number 14.
