EXPERIENCED T&T midfielder Joevin Jones is being linked to a deal with Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami, three months after his deal with MLS Cup title-holders Seattle Sounders FC came to an end.
Inter Miami, owned by former England captain David Beckham, recently appointed Beckham's ex-England and Manchester United teammate Phil Neville as the team coach.
According to a report on the website reportdoor.com, Jones, who can play either as a winger, central midfielder or left-back, is being considered by Inter Miami ahead of the 2021 MLS season.
The Florida-based club has been in talks with West Brom left back Kieran Gibbs, who played ten years for Arsenal, but he might not be available until the summer transfer window.
