FF Jaro and Kareem Moses have agreed to a contract that runs through the 2023 season.
Kareem is by no means unknown to the football crowd in Jakobstad. He represented the club in the 2018 season and played in 23 matches before moving to Canada and playing for FC Edmonton. Ahead of the 2021 season, Kareem was back in Finland to play with VPS. During the two seasons with VPS, he played in a total of 44 games. Kareem has also played a number of international matches for his home country of Trinidad and Tobago. The 184 cm tall Moses is a defensive player, who can play both as a centre-back and a full-back.
Kareem Moses is more than familiar with life in Jakobstad because he already lived in the city and has his family here. He also trained with the team in December at the open practices and in January at the team's official practices.
With Kareem's signing, FF Jaro has 21 contracted players, all living in the Jakobstad area.
FF Jaro's first competitive match will be played on Saturday 28.1.2023 at 15.15 in Tellushallen when the team takes on SJK Akatemia in the Ettans Cup.
