St. Charles FC is proud to announce the commitment of another USL League Two veteran as Mylz Kadeem Barrington will join STCFC in its inaugural season. Barrington is a right-wing back with a long soccer history dating all the way back to his time in Trinidad and Tobago. Barrington is currently getting his Master’s degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis where he has been a part of the soccer team for the last three years. Barrington appeared in 47 games for the Tritons, notching 3 goals and 5 assists. In his senior season, Barrington was named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

Even though his collegiate career may be over, Barrington is continuing to work towards a professional career and is using STCFC “to transition into the professional atmosphere and continue to represent my country,” he said recently.

Barrington brings League Two experience to STCFC after competing with the St. Louis Lions last season. Barrington appeared in 5 games for the Lions last season, helping them to a 6-4-3 record. Prior to his time in the States, Barrington honed his skills in his home country of Trinidad and Tobago, playing for W. Connection FC. Barrington also attended Presentation College, San Fernando.

Barrington credits his father for his love of the game saying, “my dad was a talented soccer player, he is my rock and motivation to continue playing this beautiful game.”
