CRYSTAL PALACE are keeping tabs on Dundee United striker Collin Samuel.
Manager Iain Dowie spotted the Trinidad and Tobago internationalist during his country’s recent 2-0 friendly win over Iceland at Loftus Road.
Samuel, who recently signed a new two-year deal, enhanced his chances of going to this summer’s World Cup by laying on the Soca Warriors’ opening goal for Dwight Yorke, and impressing national coach Leo Beenhakker with his pace.
Dowie is understood to have seen enough to believe he could do a job in the English Championship and will send a scout north later this month.
Leeds United have also been credited with an interest in the former Falkirk man.
United only re-signed Samuel in January but, should he enjoy a good World Cup, it is likely they would listen to offers.
