Fulham goalkeeper Tony Warner has joined Leeds United on a month-long loan deal. The former Millwall favourite completed the formalities of his switch north on Friday morning and wil be plunged straight into the squad for the Coca-Cola Championship opener against Norwich tomorrow.
First-choice keeper Neil Sullivan is doubtful after suffering a dead leg at Nottingham Forest last weekend, and the new recruit is on stand-by.
32-year-old Tony started his career as an apprentice at Liverpool and has gone on to make almost 300 appearances in senior football.
Tony clocked up over 200 appearances with Millwall and also enjoyed a successful spell at Cardiff. The loan agreement with Fulham will see Tony remain at Elland Road until August 28.
