CITY 'keeper Tony Warner said he and his team mates were desperately disappointed to let three points slip from their grasp against Ipswich.
Warner, on loan from Fulham, felt the Canaries had created enough chances to win the game against Jim Magilton's side, with Norwich unable to add to Dickson Etuhu's fifth minute opener.
Even after David Wright equalised for Town in the second half, City saw at least three good chances go begging.
And Warner said Norwich needed to develop a stronger killer instinct once ahead.
"I think we had our opportunities," he said. "Especially first half. But we didn't take our chances and we left ourselves open for that killer goal, and that's what happened. I thought we did enough to win it."
And Warner admitted the mood in the dressing room afterwards had the lads feeling as though they'd suffered a defeat.
"It's a little bit down," he said. "After going ahead against the local rivals and for them to pin you back was disappointing. We definitely should have gone on to win the game. To lose two points was disappointing really."
