National Team captain Densill Theobald is finally settling in the Ujpest FC team after coming off an injury shortly after his arrival at the club last month.

Theobald played his first 90 in matches last  week against Ferharvar FC and was on the bench against League leaders Budapest Honved, a Cup game which they lost 3-0. Theobald was also on the bench against Kaposvar FC while he got  a 15-minute run against MTK FC.

The former Caledonia AIA skipper admitted that the injury setback was frustrating.

"It was not the perfect way for me to start off at the club with the MCL strain but thankfully I'm back now and almost fully fit again. The club has seen me and the coach is ensuring he finds a way to fit me into his starting team plans," Theobald told TTFF Media on Thursday.

"But we are not doing too well in the League at the moment and the manager is under pressure for results. We are 10th on the table with 16 teams involved with just five points from a possible 12.

"Other than that I have settled in here at my apartment and so and the club is trying to ensure that everything is in place for me. I have even been doing my own cooking of some home style food," Theobald joked.

With Theobald playing two full 90s and coming off the bench in one game while missing two through injury, the T&T skipper is hopeful of coming on stronger at any given stage.

"Right now I can feel myself coming on stronger but the main thing is to stay fully away from injury because that can be a frightening experience. No one wants to be out here injured. Other than that I think I can go from strength to strength as the matches come along," Theobald added.
