Jason Scotland's hopes of a relaxing week away in the sun have been blasted out of the Spanish water.
Having undergone an operation in Germany to cure a stomach muscle problem two weeks before flying out to Spain, the Trinidad and Tobago international has been put through his paces by Swans physio Richie Evans.
Scotland was put through five separate sessions yesterday in the gym and the training ground in a bid to get him ready for the start of the season.
Last season's top scorer with 29 goals has been a sad figure walking through the hotel lobby drowning in his own perspiration.
Couple with the fact that he's without doubt the loudest player on tour, it's made the rest of the squad roar with laughter as he complains bitterly about the schedule.
The biggest laugh came at the end of last night's training session. As the squad boarded the bus ready for the trip back to the hotel, Scotland was told to wait behind.
Even Scotland raised a smile when Richie told him he was running back to the hotel. The smile didn't last long through when Scotland realised he was serious.
So as the rest of the squad waved goodbye through the windows of the coach, Scotland and Richie set off for the 6km run home.
A dripping Scotland eventually emerged as the squad sat down for dinner. And, in typical Scotland style, he was complaining bitterly and threatening to phone the PFA about his treatment.
Not that he received any sympathy.
