Dundee United striker Collin Samuel has been told he is free to find another club during the transfer window.
The Trinidad & Tobago international has scored just twice since his £100,000 switch from Falkirk in July 2003.
United manager Ian McCall said: "He has not been playing regularly enough and it is in the best interests of everyone for him to move on.
"I understand there are a few clubs interested in him, so I am sure he can go elsewhere and be a success."
St Johnstone manager John Connolly has denied any interest in Samuel, despite being linked with the player in the press.
Meanwhile, Rangers goalkeeper Graeme Smith is training with the Tannadice club this week.
The 21-year-old has been told he can leave Ibrox in the summer and is likely to feature in a closed-doors match against St Johnstone on Wednesday at Tannadice.
