A tough tackling and hardworking midfielder, Ronnie can be given the job the mark the best of the opposing attackers.
He suffered a broken leg in T&T's first game of the 2000 Gold Cup, a 4-0 loss to Mexico and missed almost a year of action. He returned to the TnT team during a training camp in England in February 2001 and made his match return against Jamaica that same month. He scored his first goal in a 3-1 victory over Guatemala in March, 2001.
