Marvin PhillipDigicel Pro League Championship leaders T&TEC bolstered its goalkeeping department with the signing of 27 year old Trinidad and Tobago international Marvin Phillip.

The former W Connection and Joe Public player is said to have signed on initially for the remainder of the 2011-2012 season with a long term deal to me negotiated.

Phillip joins a high profile goalkeeper cast at T&TEC with former England based and ex-T&T goalkeeper Clayton Ince and Akini Adams, and jumps into the number one spot with Ince still recovering from an injured shoulder and Adams automatically dropping into second choice.

Phillip debuted on Friday against St. Ann’s Rangers in the semi-final of the 2011 Toyota Classic at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in winning style, helping T&TEC advance into the Final on Friday 09 December with a 2-1 victory over Rangers.
