Last year’s champion team in the Under-13 and U-15 divisions, W Connection, continued its fine form in the OASIS Youth Pro League with three straight victories against Police, in Round One Match Day Four action, at St Joseph Convent Ground, Federation Park, on Sunday.

A total of 17 goals were scored by the Savonnetta Boys, with only one conceded as the talented youngsters won their matches 7-0 in the U-18, 6-0 in the U-16 and 4-1 in the U-14 divisions.

In the U-18 division, Akeem Roach bagged a quick first half hat-trick, before Neil Benjamin (61st and 65th) scored a second half double and efforts from Akeem Humphrey and Jaffett Williams rounding off the scoring for a dominant W Connection team, which won all of its four matches, in a perfect start to the season.

W Connection remained within a point of leaders St Ann’s Rangers in the U-16 division with a similarly dominating 6-0 win over Police in the second match.

Only one goal was scored in the first half that by Yafeu, before Martieon Watson (51st), a double by Jabari Mitchell (65th and 72nd) and late goals from Levon Dass (80th) and Raphael Chichester (80th+1), completed the rout in the second period.
