FREDRIC COMMISSIONG registered a hat-trick as North East Stars thrashed Defence Force 6-0 on Sunday in a Round Two Match Day Seven Under-18 meeting of the Oasis Youth League.
Commissiong got his name on the score-sheet in the 63rd, 77th and 89th minutes to ensure the lopsided result.
Shaquille Bertrand notched a double, in the 36th and 87th minutes, after Jamoul Anthony broke the deadlock in the 28th.
Police edged Caledonia 4-3 in a high-scoring affair. Jamiel Hardy (third) and Paul Jones (18th) put Police 2-0 ahead before Israel Honore pulled one back in the 26th.
Akeil Claverie restored Police’s two-goal lead in the 34th but Honore provided another twist to the drama as he completed his hat-trick, with strikes in the 44th and 69th.
The scores were locked at 3-3 until the 85th minute, when Dion McLeod notched the winner for Police.
Two games ended with default victories — W Connection over San Juan Jabloteh and TTEC over St Ann’s Rangers. Both Jabloteh and Rangers were unable to field teams for those respective matches.
