The Vibe CT 105 W Connection outfit is scoring goals at will—the Brazilian trio of Gefferson Goulart, Ronaldo Vienna and William De Ollivierra led the the Savonetta Boys to their 5th consecutive victory this season as they demolished the Defence Force 5-2 in the 5th round of the T&T Pro League and Coach Reynold Carrington and his men now lie 8 points clear at the top of the standings.

The match however, was not as smooth sailing for Connection as the result suggests—as Defence Force got a brilliant first half double from striker Odelle Armstrong in the 27th and 33rd minute, this after W Connection’s Brazilian overlapping wing back William De Olliviera opened the scoring with a 22nd minute strike.

The confident Connection however, was not too be denied, as they stepped up their game and Gefferson Goulart ensured the League leaders go into the half 2-2, as he scored a goal on the stroke of the half time whistle.

The Brazilian ace who is back with Connection this year after his stint with FC Zelnick of Yugoslavia came to an end, fired Connection into a 3-2 lead with a fantastic strike in the 57th minute.

By this time the Armymen were totally out of it—and Goulart’s partner in crime Ronaldo Vienna hit the back of the net in the 71st minute and Connection were cruising with a 4-2 lead.

The icing on the cake was layered when Captain Earl Jean blasted home a 77th minute strike.

Connection winning by 5 goals to 2—and have now taken a maximum 15 points from their 5 games.
