RICARDO JOHN scored a late winner as St Ann’s Rangers edged leaders Police 1-0, on February 18, in a Round One Match Day Six encounter as the Digicel Pro League Reserve Division continued.

John found the back of the net in the 88th minute as the sixth-placed Rangers overcame the group leaders. And Defence Force joined Police atop the standings with nine points after they whipped W Connection 2-0.

Ross Russell jnr opened the scoring in the 45th minute while Adrian Welch netted the second in the 68th.

North East Stars moved up to third place after holding TTEC to a 2-2 draw.

Jean-Luc Rochford, the former Trinidad and Tobago youth team defender/midfielder, put North East ahead after two minutes but Husani Thomas equalised in the tenth.

Shaquille Bertrand restored North East’s lead in the 52nd but Nathaniel Garcia ensured a share of the points when he evened up the scores in the 55th.

And Caledonia registered a 2-1 victory over Central FC, with Odelle Armstrong (17th) and Jamille Boatswain (80th) netting for Caledonia, while Dwight Quintero (56th) pulled one back for Central.
