Morvant Caledonia United and Terminix La Horquetta Rangers will both have their eyes set on second spot on the 11-club 2019/2020 T&T Pro League table behind, Defence Force when they meet in the feature match of a double-header at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo from 8 pm on Tuesday night.
Having started the season with four wins from as many matches, the "Teteron Men" have stumbled somewhat over the last week and have drawn their last two matches, first against lowly San Juan Jabloteh (1-1), and then versus Police FC (0-0), in their top-of-the-table clash at Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar on Sunday last.
However, despite their drop in form the "Teteron Men" under the guidance of first-year head coach Lloyd "Sir Naulty" Andrews still lead the standings with 14 points from six matches, three ahead of Police FC who have played a match more and are on a bye for this round, while Morvant Caledonia United and La Horquetta Rangers are next with eight points each from seven and six matches respectively.
They are followed by resurgent defending champions W Connection and Central FC with eight points each, one more than AC Port-of-Spain.
The Morvant Caledonia squad which is also under a first-year head coach in former national captain Densil "Bleeder" Theobald also go into the match looking for some consistency to their game and are winless in their last four matches, dating back to their 1-0 win over San Juan Jabloteh on January 3.
Two other matches are on schedule from 7 pm, with cellar-placed Cunupia FC hosting W Connection at Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva, while Point Fortin will see its first bit of action when they welcome Central FC at the Mahaica Oval.
