San Juan Jabloteh has boosted its defence signing W Connection defender Glenton Wolfe until the end of the season.

The 27 year old former North East Stars defender joined W Connection this season, after Stars pulled out of the Pro League but it was difficult finding a starting spot in-between the ‘Savonnetta Boys’ regulars.

“I want to be more active and I wasn’t getting that at Connection,” said Wolfe.

Wolfe featured for Connection’s senior team twice since joining the club during pre-season, as he was mostly used for the Reserves.

“I’m fully recovered from my injury and I’m looking for more playing time,” continued the former Trinidad and Tobago defender who is now hoping to see more playing time with the club he played for back in 2006.

With the CONCACAF Champions’ League, Digicel Pro League and knockout titles to play for, Wolfe surely has a lot of football to play at Jabloteh.

Wolfe, the older brother of T&T 2006 World Cup member Anthony Wolfe, had a cloud over his career after picking up a knee injury in 2007 which overshadowed two seaons before joining W Connection.

Wolfe will now add to the experience of former England based defender Dennis Lawrence signed last month by Jabloteh.

Jabloteh have already secured its place in the final round of the Digicel Pro League, seated at the top. However the San Juan club is still searching for points in the CONCACAF Champions’ League group stage.

Jabloteh will host MLS club DC United from 8pm at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in game day three of the Group stage on Tuesday. Both DC and Jabloteh are hunting points as CD Marathon and CD Toluca enjoy the top of group B.
