Jabloteh back on track.T&T Pro League outfit San Juan Jabloteh are being funded by a consortium of businesses called the Working Group to keep the club afloat.

The club, who lost their 16-year title sponsor CLICO last year, are expected to see their expenses met up to December 2010 by the group which includes First Citizens Bank Limited, Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation, Food Basket Supermarket, Mega Insurance and Methanol Holdings.

During that period, the club, the Working Group and Price Waterhouse Coopers are expected to formulate a three-year plan (2011-2014) that would help the club "discharge its mandate to the national community".

According to a press release from Jabloteh, the mandate is "to provide avenues through which the young people in the high-risk communities of San Juan and its environs can earn incomes while utilising their natural talents, thereby building self-esteem and self reliance".

Jabloteh, which became a professional entity back in 1995, has seen their efforts to continue in the Digicel Pro League supported by the Working Group.

The club thanked CLICO for its 16-year involvement and assured its board and management, led by chairman Gerry Hospedales, follows the best practice in its governance arrangements.
