Kevon Goddard lead Joe Public U-15s to an extremely comfortable 9-0 win over Police FC with a first half hattrick at the Marvin Lee Stadium on Sunday in Round One Match Day Ten of the 2011 Oasis Youth Pro League.

Goddard opened the scoring in the 10th minute and followed up with items in the 11th and 19th minutes, before Akil Thomas added a pair with goals in the 26th and 36th minutes to enjoy a 5-0 comfort at the break. Deshon Daniel (40th minute), Corey Stewart (55th minute), Kellon Valdez (71st minute) and Jamal Lawrence (78th minute) then notched an item each in the second period adding to the bottom of the table Police’s misery.

Police sits in the cellar spot with just one point after nine games, two points less than 10th positioned Ma Pau SC on the standings led by W Connection, which was inactive in Match Day Ten.

Connection stands at the top with 27 points, followed by Adam’s Construction San Juan Jabloteh (24 points) in second and Caledonia AIA (21 points) in third.

Jabloteh joined the winners row in the U-15 games on Sunday with a 3-0 win over Defence Force thanks to an Akeem Garcia double (24th and 61st minutes) netting on either side of the half, and an opening item by Daniel Banfield (20 minute).

In other U-15 matches, Ma Pau SC enjoyed a 3-1 win over North East Stars; T&TEC whipped Caledonia 3-0; and St. Ann’s Rangers slapped a 5-1 win over FC SouthEnd.

Joe Public and Jabloteh also registered victories in the U-13 and U-17 divisions.

Jesse Joseph was in brilliant form netting in the 19th, 29th and 63rd minutes to end with a hattrick in Public’s 3-0 U-13 victory over Police as his side stands in second position with 21 points, four behind leaders W Connection and two points ahead of Caledonia, Rangers and Jabloteh.

Joe Public continued its dominance at the U-17 level with nine from nine games with a 5-1 victory over Police. Marcus Gomez (3rd and 60th minutes) and Garvin Samaroo (58th and 78th minutes) registered doubles which were separated by Seth Holder’s 55th minute item. Darion Findley pulled a goal back for Police in the 72nd minute but that wasn’t enough to turn the tide.

Joe Public enjoys 27 points at the top of the standings followed by Rangers in second and Jabloteh third, both with 19 points.

Rangers registered a 7-1 win over SouthEnd and Jabloteh a 2-1 win over Defence Force with one match day remaining in Round One.
