Leonson Lewis W Connection can celebrate the 2011 Oasis Youth Pro League U-13 title following Sunday’s 2-0 win against visitors St. Ann’s Rangers at the Gilbert Park Ground, leaving Joe Public and San Juan Jabloteh in the tussle for second.

However the Couva based club needs just one point from three remaining matches to convince second positioned Joe Public with four matches remaining.

The Connection U-13s started the season on top and never looked back.

The Leonson Lewis coached side currently enjoys a 12 points gap at the top with 49 points and a 65 goal difference followed by Public with 37 points and a 38 goal difference.

Public would think that they still have a mathematical chance of tying up the points however the massive goals difference looks unachievable.

Meantime second half goals by Isaiah Hudson (47th minute) and Bradlee Lee Foon (49th minute) seems to have done the trick for Connection in the U13 title glory.

Connection also looks strong for the U15 title with 48 points at the top, eight points ahead of second positioned Adam’s Construction San Juan Jabloteh(40 points) which dropped points in their last few games—most recently Sunday’s goalless draw against T&TEC FC.

Mark Phillip, Nicholas Dillon and Yafeu Rougier were the goalscorers for the Connection U15s in a 3-2 win over Rangers, while Lenard Archer and Marquise Hoyte were the Rangers scorers.

And in the U17 division, Joe Public inactive on Sunday enjoys a seven point gap on the pack with 45 points. Jabloteh with 38 points sits second and Connection with a chance for second in third with 36 points.

U17 results saw Jabloteh enjoy a 2-0 win over T&TEC, Connection enjoy a slim 1-0 win over Rangers, FC SouthEnd whip Ma Pau SC 3-0, Caledonia defeat Police 3-0 and Defence Force held to a 2-2 draw against North East Stars.
