Trinidad and Tobago’s Under-17 Footballers will commence their FIFA Under-17 World Cup qualifying campaign today with a  6:30 p.m. (TT time) game against Guatemala in the opening CONCACAF Under 17 Championship match  at the Estadio Francisco Morazan in Honduras.

Thirty members of the Trinidad and Tobago National Men’s Under 17 team underwent medical screenings last Tuesday at the Ato Boldon Stadium as they continue their build up to the CONCACAF Under 17 Championship and Final round of World Cup qualifiers in Honduras next month.

With just under a week to go before the opening CONCACAF World Cup qualifier versus Guatemala, National Men’s Under 17 head coach Shawn Cooper is keeping a cool head following this country’s second successive defeat to Panama on Wednesday night.

T&T Under-17 footballers will meet Guatemala in their opening Group A match of the 2015 Concacaf Under-17 Championship at the Francisco Morazan Stadium, San Pedro Sula, Honduras on February 27 from 2.30 pm.

Trinidad and Tobago’s National Under 17 Men’s team went under 4-0 to Panama’s U-17s in their first training match in Panama City today as they fine tune for the upcoming CONCACAF Final Round of World Cup qualification.

NATIONAL Men’s Under-17 team head coach Shawn Cooper believes this country has received a favourable draw for the final round of CONCACAF qualification for the 2015 FIFA Under-17 Men’s World Cup.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Men Under 17 Team will depart tomorrow for a ten-day training camp in Panama ahead of the CONCACAF Final Round of World Cup qualification in Honduras later this month.

This country’s Under-17 footballers will kick off the final stage of the Fifa Under-17 World Cup Chile 2015 Concacaf qualifiers when they face the winner of the Central American playoff between El Salvador and Guatemala in Group A on February 27 at the Francisco Morazan Stadium, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
