TRINIDAD AND Tobago Under-17 football team will kick off the Final Round of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Men’s Under-17 Qualifiers when they meet St Lucia on the opening day, in Group “A”, on Sunday.
This game will be first of a doubleheader, with hosts Haiti scheduled to face Barbados.
All matches in the Under-17 Qualifiers will be staged at the Sylvio Cator Stadium in Port-au-Prince.
On Tuesday, Trinidad and Tobago will square off against Barbados while Haiti will meet St Lucia while, next Thursday, Barbados will tackle St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago will oppose Haiti.
Group “B” action, involving Cuba, Guadeloupe, Jamaica and Martinique, will feature matches on Monday, Wednesday and next Friday.
The Qualifiers will conclude on October 26 with the third-place playoff (comprising the runners-up of each group) and the final (comprising the respective group winners).
The top two teams in each group, as well as the better third-placed team, will progress to the 2015 CONCACAF Under-17 Championships in Honduras.
