When Yugoslavian Zoran Vranes begins his job today as Head Coach of the national Under-20 squad he need not worry about payment of his salary.
Oliver Camps, president of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFF), confirmed yesterday that his association “don’t have to pay Vranes’ salary”.
Vranes is on loan from Joe Public on a temporary basis and will be paid by that club. He takes over the job from former “Strike Squad” player Clayton Morris.

Winner of this week's matches will join defending champions USA, Mexico and Panama in Group "A" of the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup 2002 from October 27 to November 9.
Canada, Costa Rica, the winner of the Zone "B" decider between Jamaica and Haiti, and another Caribbean team will comprise Group "B". That final spot will be known after the playoff between runners-up of the two Caribbean zones.
Group "A" matches will be played at the Safeco Field, Seattle, Washington and the Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California, USA while Group "B" games will be contested at the Centennial Stadium, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The semi-finals will be held in Seattle, with the final set for Pasadena, on November 9th. The top two teams in the Gold Cup will automatically qualify for the FIFA 2003 Women's World Cup in China while a third CONCACAF team will meet an Asian team for another available spot in China.
