Paraguay yesterday, gave the Trinidad and Tobago Under 20 team a taste of what's to come when they meet in September at the FIFA Under 20 World Championship in Egypt.

Paraguay's biggest victory to date in this tournament as though they were planing for the T&T team all along, whipped, the Young Soca Warriors 4-0 in the U-20 Hexagonal Soccer Series, currently ongoing in Venezuela.

As mentioned in a previous report both teams are in the same group in the FIFA Under 20 World Championship in Egypt in September, 2009. And this tournament serves as a pre-warm up for teams that are preparing for the real test come September.

T&T who is known for conceding early goals did just that when Paraguay's Luis Páez opened up the four goal feast as early as the 7th minute. The T&T team regrouped and held firm as the game remained 1-0 in favor of Paraguay until the 67th minute when Jorge Moreira increased the advantage (2-0).

But all hopes were dashed for a T&T come back when Federico Santander added to the Young Warriors misery in the 73rd minute before Robin Ramírez 85th minute item sealed the victory for the Paraguayans.

This time Paraguay got the better of T&T, but hopefully it would be the other way around when both teams meet again in September. This is the second time a T&T team has been grouped with Paraguay at a FIFA World Cup finals. The senior Soca Warriors were also in the same group with Paraguay at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. They fell short (2-0), but the current under 20 team still has a chance to turn things around come September when it really matters.

In other games that were played yesterday. Venezuela A shocked leaders Costa Rica 1-0 and Brazil didn't disappoint when they slip by T&T's next opponent - Venezuela B (2-0).
