KEEPING with its slogan “Building communities through sport,” the 2020 Community Football League (CFL) is ready to kick off again. The league’s 2020 edition was officially launched, on Saturday evening, at the South-West Regional Indoor Arena, in Point Fortin.
The Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella will be the venue for the first ever Next Level Consulting, Limited U19 Community Invitational Tournament All Star game this Sunday, March 1. The game will feature the North/East All Stars against the South/Central All Stars.

After 90 minutes of end to end football, the South Central Under-19 All Atars, led by a second half goal and an assist, from SSFL MVP, Jaiye Sheppard, came back from a goal down to win the contest, 3-1. South Central All stars also got goals from captain, Nikel Rawlins, and winger, Zion Bain.
The packed Mayaro Recreation Ground witnessed two keenly contested games on Sunday. MaGuaya United defeated Deportivo P.F. Youths 3-2 to win the Next Level Consulting, Limited U19 Community Invitational Tournament Championship final, in the second game of the top four doubleheader. Before that, Gasparillo Youths were able to edge D.C.S./Dass Trace by a similar 3-2 scoreline, to take third place, in the first game of the doubleheader.
