The media launch of the exciting new Next Level Consulting, Limited (NLCL) Under 19 Community Invitational Tournament took place at the Marabella South Secondary School on Wednesday (December 18) morning.  Guest speakers, and former national goalkeepers, Michael Maurice and Jan Michael Williams advised the attendees of their personal and sporting backgrounds, as well as, their experiences playing the sport they love all around the world, as professionals and ex-nationals. Both gentlemen agreed that Trinidad & Tobago’s young footballers need to take advantage of the great opportunities being provided, and stressed that discipline, dedication and hard work would help push them toward their goals.

Owner of Next Level Consulting, Limited and Tournament Chairman, Brian K. Jordan, announced at the media launch that Halifax Wanderers, of the Canadian Professional League, and coached by Stephen Hart, would accept the overall NLCL U19 Tournament MVP on trial. Mr. Jordan reiterated, “We are extremely thankful to Halifax Wanderers, and by extension Coaches Hart, Assistant Coach King, and Goalkeeping Coach, Jan Michael Williams for their support and agreement to accept the tournament MVP on trial. We want this league to be a platform for our young talented footballers. He further stated, “We are working hard to provide the opportunities, and our youngsters themselves have to work hard to push themselves into their future footballing, or other careers.” Lastly, he added, “All of the home and away games will be free of charge to attend. Communities will be coming out to support in their numbers, so let’s give them a good show, enjoy the games, and have the best behaviour possible.”
