Also on Sunday, NLCB recorded a resounding 6-1 win over Federal Northside with Rodney nelson and Darren Waldron scoring a brace each for the winners. Mt Grace’s other goals came from Curt Comarty and Rohan Sebro. Martin Lindlow scored the consolation effort for Federal Northside.
Tobago Premier relegation deciders on today
Tobago Premier Division action will continue today with a tenth-placed Leeds United and 11th-placed Black Rock FC playing to evade an automatic relegation spot. Black Rock, which sits in the second to last spot and an automatic relegation position, will battle second-placed Sidey’s FC in the former team’s final match of the league campaign.
Black Rock will need all three points to have a chance of taking over Leeds United which is also in action on the day against Lambeau, which also sits in a respectable fourth position. Leeds, which sits just one point over Black Rock, will secure its place in tenth with a win. If the team drops any points and Black Rock wins, the latter team will find itself in tenth position, which, also does not guarantee safety.
The team which finishes in tenth will battle the third place team in the First Division in a playoff for a place in next season’s Premier Division.
