REFORMATION LIFE Centre and Global Encounter Ministries (GEMS) will oppose each other today from 2.30 pm, in the Premier Division League Champion of Champions Final of the 2013 Churches Football League.
This rescheduled match will be staged at the Knowles Street Recreation Ground in Curepe.
The game was played three weeks ago but a power outage, when GEMS were leading 3-1, caused the organisers to reschedule the contest.
And this game will bring the curtains down on ths year’s season.
There were two other title-deciders recently — the Grand Knockout and the First Division League Champion of Champions finals, with Church on the Rock triumphant in both games.
In the Grand Knockout final, Church on the Rock pipped D’Abadie Deliverance Sanctuary 3-2 with strikes from Elijah Belgrave, Brian Sampson and Neil Marcano getting the goals for the winners, while Raymond Pinder and Joshama Bishop replied for D’Abadie.
However, against Cumuto Strike Force, Church on the Rock inflicted a 6-2 humiliation, with Belgrave scoring a pair, while Sampson, Anton Sansavior, Wendell Chapman and Deron John chipping in with one apiece.
Kevon Blake and Darryl Jessop found the back of the net for Cumuto.
