ARNOLD DWARIKA led Trinidad and Tobago X Men to second spot at the 19th annual Barbados international masters football tournament last month in Barbados.

X Men has had previous success in the Barbados tournament, winning in 2010 and reaching several semi-final spots in the last seven years.

This year, Vincy Masters emerged champions when beating Trinidad and Tobago X Men in a penalty shootout in the finals. Before losing the shootout, X Men played unbeaten in seven matches from a 32 team field, and was the only Trinidad and Tobago team to make the last four.

X Men scored eight goals and conceded three. Former ex-national standout Dwarika lead the team with five goals. Solid performances came from former national players Ansil Elcock along with Ferguson Balbosa, Phillip Copeland, Kenny Gill, Ameen Ho Sing Loy, Alexis Moore, Mark James, Deleon Sinnette and Sherwin Mark. Player coaches were Stephen Chou Yuen and Barry Roach.
