Patrick Toussaint put Athletico ahead in the 21st minute, but Sathroy Guld got the equaliser in the 30th before Keba Alexander netted what turned out to be the winner in the 42nd.
Joe Public kept ahead in the Premiership with an emphatic 4-0 thumping of Tunapuna Titans with Mali Quamina scoring twice in the 57th and 84th minutes. Keron Reid 73rd and Kareem Edwards 79th scored the other goals.
Creek got their first victory in the division, whipping WASA 4-1 on goals by Tyler Garraway in the 47th and 51st while Ricardo Mathura in the 66th and Cody St Clair added one each. Marvin Joseph got the consolation.
