TWO goals Carifigus Diaz saw Upper Santa Cruz upset WASA 2-0 and oust them out of the Emerald Apartments and Plaza-sponsored Eastern Football Association League Cup.
Diaz sent the Santa Cruz men ahead in the 61st minute and added his second after 70 minutes.
Maloney Academy also knocked off top team Carib FC 2-1 to book a place in the League Cup semi-finals.
After a 0-0 first-half, Kevorn Thomas put the Brewery Boys in front in the 59th minute only for Manu John to grab the Maloney equaliser in the 61st, and Khalid Critchlow rifled in the winner in the 72nd minute.
In another quarter-final Real Maracas shut out Boss FC 2-0 on goals by Arlington Alvarez in the 22nd and Dillon Bartholomew in the 67th.
But Prisons entered the Final Four the easy way when Barataria Ball Players defaulted. In the semi-finals scheduled for October 13, Maloney Academy take on Upper Santa Cruz at the Maloney Ground while Maracas meet Prisons at the Maracas ground.
